Dazzling Decoupage!!

Project nine is easy, breezy decoupage!
Watch as we make clear bottle beautiful...

Here's what you need to complete the project:
  • Tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Disposable plastic cup
  • Clear container to decoupage
  • Small paint brush

Mix glue and water until it makes a thin paste.
Another option is to use ModPodge, available at craft stores.

Coat the container with the mixture.

Roll on tissue paper and secure.

Spread another coat over tissue paper.

Continue covering bottle with tissue paper,
coating with glue mixture between layers.

Gently press down tissue paper to leave the upper part of the container exposed.

Place glue on paint brush and brush over bottle to secure.

Here's our completed bottles...

...and he's a breakdown of what we spent!
  • Plastic bottles (Set of two, Dollar Tree) - $1.00
  • Elmer's-type glue (Walmart) - $.25
  • Tissue (Dollar Tree) - $.10
  • Paint brush (Dollar Tree ) - $1.00

Total for a set of two decoupage bottles: $2.35

This lovely bottle set was cheap and easy, falling right into our bath-themed projects of late. We filled one with a sparkling pear lotion from Dollar Tree and made a lavender mist spray for the other with the lavender essential oil from our other bath goodies.

Enjoy Decoupaging!
